Ferlor is the Master Conjurer at the Synth Institute during the Fourth Era. He is middle-age and incredibly talented with his Synthetic abilities.
Role at the Institute
Despite making many groundbreaking discoveries with his time at the Institute, as the years have progressed, he found himself becoming increasingly disinterested in pursuing its innovation.
As he learnt more about the Synth, in the back of his mind, he started to think that there may be something else behind its reason. Becoming obsessed with this idea, he took risky and underground decisions, isolating himself from the Institute as a whole and even looking to reason with the Kaidis.
Such reasoning led to the creation of the Warlock Council and the eventual summoning of Barel, a Lightbearer.
